When a Parish funeral is held, the regularly scheduled Mass or Word and Communion for that day will not be held. The funeral Mass will become the only Mass of the day. Mass Intentions previously scheduled for the daily Mass will be transferred to the first available time slot, with notation made in the weekly bulletin.
